Qimmuseq, Dog Sledding Time!
Spring is here and Aasiaat's gates are opening for the annual dog sledding competition!
As the town prepares for April's major competition, minor lead up events are happening nearly every week. From the children's competition to the local legends, everybody's team is getting a work out.
Starting tomorrow, April 1st, Aasiaat's major competitions begin with the National Competition, which will be broadcast across Greenland. April is a perfect time to visit; the weather is more temperate but you're still able to enjoy many of Greenland's unique winter activities.
