Sun, Snow and Dog-Sledding
Despite the fresh -21°C today, the sun has been beating down making for a gorgeous day out on the dog sled! We were lucky enough to have a group from Denmark go on a trip out to the Hot Springs with our guides.
At one point on their trip, their sleds sped up toward a cliff they couldn't see. It wasn't until they saw the dogs jump in the air that they felt themselves quickly heading down the steep slope.
"It was like a rollercoaster!" they said, while giggling and remarking how they all let out a yelp as the sleds gained upon the dogs' heels.
After two hours out on the sleds and some relaxing Greenlandic tea, the group were ready to head back to their accommodations and rest well before half their party returned home.
