Hot Springs & Iceberg Cruise
Combine two of Greenland's most spectacular sights.
About Hot Springs & Icebergs

There are few places on earth in which it’s possible to see icebergs up close. In fact, their mention is one of the few times Greenland readily springs to mind This rarity, coupled with their almost luminescent glistening, makes spotting one a truly magical experience.
Even in the summer, Aasiaat's icebergs stand tall just beyond sight of the bay, and they were once used by locals to mark the changing of the seasons as well as a natural map that differentiated towns.
And yet, displaying the natural contrasts that make up a Greenlandic summer, a bubbling hot spring just a short distance away maintains its heat year-round. Locals often make dedicated trips to the spring to collect water, said to have its own unique taste.
The Experience

You’ll begin at the town center harbor, where you’ll climb aboard our luxury targa ship for two hours of awe-inspiring sight-seeing. Our ship captain will journey behind the mountains that usually hide Aasiaat’s icebergs from the town, giving you the chance for an up-close look at one of the arctic’s most iconic sights.
From there, you’ll continue to the nearby hot springs, where you can taste the unique flavor of the fresh water from the spring and even fill up a bottle to take home with you. With warming cups of hot tea and coffee also supplied on board, you needn’t worry about refreshments as you sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery that Aasiaat has to offer.
